Vitamin Angels

Decreasing vitamin deficiencies in newborns and children up to the age of five is the goal of Vitamin Angels. They wish to make vitamins more available and accessible, as well as increase the use of them. By doing this, the health and life expectancy of children increases.




Vitamin A and multivitamins are the main focus of this organization. Vitamin Angels is able to reach their intended outcome by working with partners that have a local presence in the countries they assist. They also seek to reach the Millenium Development Goals (MDG) that were adopted by the United Nations and international communities.These goals are:

1. Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger
2. Achieve universal primary education
3. Promote gender equality and empower women
4. Reduce child mortality
5. Improve maternal health
6. Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases
