IAVA (Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America)

 

IAVA is a group committed to assisting troops and veterans that serve or have served in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan by improving their lives. They target issues such as mental health injuries, healthcare for women, the VA System and GI Bill educational benefits. IAVA is a way for people to connect with others who have shared in their experiences and allows them to assist each other with the transition back into civilian life.

War Child

War Child is an international organization that focuses on preventing the death of children due to armed conflict and aiding them so that they are not forced to desert their homes. They strive to improve access to education and justice, as well as decrease poverty by developing employment opportunities.
